Last September, P!nk scored her first ever UK No.1 with So What. Hard to belief, really, looking at her long string of memorable singles. However if there is one thing, new single, Please Don't Leave Me isn't, it's memorable.
Chosen from many, many break up songs from her latest album, Please Don't Leave Me, tells the story of someone begging their partner not to walk out on them, and how they can change. "I can be so mean when I wanna be", she cries. However, regardless of that, the song is totally and utterly average. A bland, passive beat accompanied by whingey and annoying vocals.
Perhaps I am being a little too harsh here. But it wouldn't be so easy to criticise if it weren't for the fact that there are so many better choices for third single. To conclude, a pleasant but ultimately forgettable effort from P!nk, perhaps her worst single to date, (excluding that diabolcial rap phase at the start of her career).
