It has been reported that former Destiny's Child singer, Kelly Rowland, has been dumped by her record label Columbia as they see her as "no longer commerically viable".
However, CEO of Columbia Records denied these claims, stating that it was a "mutual agreement" and that anything that was reported contrary to that is false.
"Kelly Rowland is one of our finest contemporary artists and a musical force to be reckoned with."
Rowland herself made an official statement on the matter, stating that she decided to parts ways with Columbia, to "explore new directions".
This news comes two months after it was revealed that Kelly had fired former manager Matthew Knowles, father of former band member to Kelly, Beyoncé.
