Fitting well into the explosion of electro pop was a little track, called The Fear. The great return of Lily Allen and a great return it was, landing the singer her first ever No.1 single. And now she is back with the second single from her album, It's Not Me, It's You.
Not Fair is a country inspired, pop romp with all the makings of another Top 10 hit for the outspoken star. In the song, Lily speaks of a partner who is perfect in every way, but is slightly, um, lacking in the bedroom. "Oh I lie here in the wet patch, in the middle of the bed, feeling pretty damn hard done by, I spent ages giving head", she complains.
Overall, though perhaps not as catchy or exciting as The Fear, Not Fair is still yet another reminder, that whatever else she may be, Lily is one dman great pop star.
